Stitch steps: Mattress stitch

Mattress stitch is used to join knitting with an invisible seam. It is a specially adapted version of ladder stitch, which can be worked over one or two bars between the stitches. The single-bar version is especially suitable for sewing the seams of soft toys as it is strong and won’t let the filling escape. Mattress stitch RIGHT Mattress stitch LEFT
